San Antonio-area malls reopen in attempt to restore some semblance of normalcy
SAN ANTONIO – Most malls around San Antonio are now open again for business. The actual shopping experience though has changed dramatically in just a few weeks.
“There’s not a lot of people, so I don’t have to worry about lines or anything like that,” shopper Diana Speed tells us.
Speed was one of the few customers inside South Park Mall today, where about 40 percent of the stores have reopened, according to mall manager Christina Crouch.
“We’re happy to reopen our doors and try to get back to some normalcy, but the best and safest way possible,” Crouch says.
